The Tea Room will be open until 6:00 pm on Saturdays and Sundays for large parties.

he Vintage Tea Leaf's spacious Victorian-era tea room accommodates parties
of six to eighty guests. We serve gourmet tea cuisine and 100 vintage loose-leaf teas.

 

ll celebration party teas include:

  • Fresh flowers in teacups on each table
  • Linens, silver, crystal, and china
  • Over 200 antique bone china teacups, from which each guest may select
  • Vintage hats for guests to wear, if desired
  • Table setup for gifts or business materials
  • Assistance in selecting teas, menu choices, invitations, and party favors
  • Written directions and map for guests, which can be included with invitations
  • One-half hour of time for host or hostess to set up personal touches for the party
  • Wheelchair accessibility
  • All party services include tax and gratuity
    (about 18-20%) rounded off to the low side to simplify your transactions.

 

ooking Your Tea Party

 

he Vintage Tea Leaf wishes to provide you with the best services for your
celebration. The Tea and Party Mistress recommends that you carefully review these steps
for booking your party.

1. Check tea room availability in person or by phone.
Be prepared to answer these questions:

  • Date and time
  • Length of time desired
  • Estimated number of guests
  • Estimated budget for party and party favors

CAUTION: Your date is not confirmed without a good-faith deposit. Do not send party
invitations without a confirmed date and time.

2. Confirm your party booking by making a good-faith deposit of $60.00 per party.
Parties over 30 guests require a deposit of $120.00.

Your final bill, due on the day of the party, is calculated on the per-person charge times
the number of guests you have confirmed 72 hours prior to your scheduled party time.

3. If you desire more than the allotted time for your party, or if your party runs overtime,
the charge is $75.00 per half-hour. There will be no charge for overtime, if it is the
responsibility of the Vintage Tea Leaf, due to unforeseen events.

arty Notes for the Hostess

  • All party tea services include tax and gratuity, and are charged per person.
  • All tea services include hot tea & ice water with lemon.
  • Start times for all teas are 11:00 am or 2:30 pm on. (Urban Survival Tea starts at 4:00 pm)
  • The party hostess will make all sandwich, soup, salad, scones, and dessert selections for the guests. Please let guests know that everyone will be served the same selections. When necessary, we can accommodate food allergies, gluten-free diets, vegetarians and vegans. Advance notice is preferred.
